Ethos Bay Area was founded by Kelly Francis in 2008, with the mission to bring excellence, integrity and service to Bay Area legal recruiting and professional development coaching. We have built our practice and methodology in these areas on the following base of experience:

Kelly Francis (B.A. Stanford, J.D. Boalt)

Founder and Executive Director

• A former litigator, who practiced in San Francisco in law firms and in her own practice for 15 years, including hiring, managing and mentoring attorneys and paralegals
• Former Executive Director of the legal division of a prominent, bi-coastal recruiting firm for 7 years, specializing in the recruitment and placement of attorneys, paralegals and document review teams in law firms and in-house legal departments throughout the Bay Area
• Professional coaching program certification pending with New Ventures West - representative clients of the program include NASA, Intel, Intuit, Genentech, Hewlett Packard and Clorox
• State Bar of California, Law Practice Management & Technology section Executive Committee member
• San Francisco Bar Association: Law Practice Management section Executive Committee member, former chair and officer positions; former Work/Life Balance Initiative Committee member
• Queen's Bench (a prominent, Bay Area women lawyers' association founded in 1921): longtime member; former board member and officer, Employment Committee chair, Business Development Committee co-chair, Networking Roundtable facilitator; current Work/Life Balance Committee member and Queen's Bench Foundation board member
• Lawyers' Club, San Francisco Inn of Court: former member, by invitation
